The copy and paste function allows you to paste a component present on a page of the site, on the same page or in other pages, replicating identically the properties that the component has in the source page, such as size, position and content.
It is very simple: click with the right mouse button on the component to be copied and select Copy component. Go to the destination page, where you want to paste the component, and click with the right mouse button.
You have two possibilities:
1. Paste the component: In this case, any changes to the component they are also replicated on the other pages where the component has been pasted. The components created in this way will be linked together. The deletion of one will lead to the deletion of all the components that have been pasted.
2. Duplicate Component: Make the component pasted on a page independent of the original component. Any changes made in a component will not be affected in the copied component.
To know: you can use the copy and paste function even on the same page, but in this case it will not be possible to use the paste component function but only paste and duplicate. This is because the copied component can have the same position as the original only on
different pages.
Did you select Paste component by mistake but don't want the changes to affect the original component? No problem. Right-click on the component you just pasted and select Copy Component. On the same page, always right-click and select Duplicate component. Now you can delete the component pasted by mistake and work on the duplicated one, without modifying the original component!
