1. Access to the Dashboard:
Access your e-commerce dashboard.
2. Navigation to Products:
Click on "Products" to manage your catalog.
3. Creating a New Product:
Select "Create Product".
Enter the key details: name, photo, price and quantity.
4. Advanced Product Options:
From the right side panel, by clicking on the top arrow, you will find the advanced options.
Scroll until you find "Recurring Purchases".
5. Configuration of Periodic Purchases:
Enable the "Recurring Purchases" option.
Purchase Method:
- Single or Periodic Purchase: The user can decide whether to purchase the product only once or on a recurring basis.
- Periodic Purchase Only: The product will only be available with scheduled purchases.
- Delivery Frequency: Indicates the delivery options available (e.g. one week, two weeks, one month).
6. Saving Changes:
Click "Save" to apply the settings to the product.
Configuration for Existing Products:
Select an existing product.
Click on the three dots and choose "Edit".
Follow the same steps to set up recurring purchases.
Purchase Process for the End User:
On the site, the user will be able to select the purchase frequency before adding the product to the cart.
You will complete the checkout by entering your details and payment method.
A new order will be created based on the cadence chosen by the user.
Requirements and Additional Information:
Make sure you have enabled Braintree as a payment method to manage recurring payments.
The user must register on the site to manage and view upcoming payments and deliveries.
Deactivating Recurring Purchases:
Go to "Orders" and then to "Recurring Purchase Management" in the Dashboard.
Select the user and disable the "Active" option for the desired product.
Confirm the change.
